Well, I'm home! Guess I need to change my xanga, but that will have to be later. As for now, the job search is on. I already have a temporary job that I can start tomorrow, but my dad wants me to get myself organized before I start working (did I mention I love him at the moment). I'm just feeling so overwhelmed. There's so much to do, I don't even know where to start. My house looks incredible though, my family did such a great job! I love being home. If you want to call, I'll be home all day tomorrow - 504-837-0753. But tonight, I need to hang out with my best friend!!!

It is already October! You know what that means - 10 days and I'm getting on my plane home. Still not ready to leave though - I love it here! I mean ...Paris...Metairie - not really a big difference there. But really, I can already taste the gumbo - and if nothing else does, the food will call me home when it's time to go. Luckily, Kel has been doing her research, which is exciting in itself - I'm pumped to go back home, honestly, I am. Get excited everybody!

Lately, I've been catching up on the teen drama The O.C. - by watching all of season 2 in the course of about 3 days. Surprisingly, it is completely addictive! PS. I am IN LOVE with Seth Cohen! What's up with that? Did they reach into my brain and create this character after my idea of the perfect guy, or is it that he's just too adorable and funny for any girl to resist? He kind of reminds me of someone too, maybe that's why I love him.

I'm back. Instead of going to Nice, we partied it up in Turin - louisiana style! Then chilled at the beach in a little italian sea-side town called San Remo. Now mel is headed to meet up with her friend in rome - and they will take it from there. As for me - I brought the kids back some water guns = they love me!!

In less than 24 hrs, Melissa will be here!!! The Alassio deal is spent - they decided last minute to send someone who can cook and clean and actually do work, instead of me who would lay out all day and drink all night - good for them! So now, we will have to return to the original plan - Nice, France! I don't really care where I am - I'll be with an actual friend! YES!!

Always interesting here at the Ferrando household. As I type, there is a Swedish opera singer singing Sweden's national anthem outside the window. Tonight they had a huge international party for lawyers. Big white tents set up outside - candles and lanterns everywhere - about 50 waiters in starched white uniforms serving champagne, fried cauliflower, prosciutto wrapped breadsticks, etc. I wore a dress! I felt so uncomfortable though, the family sees me everyday in t-shirts and a hat. Fun party. I talked to some people from Scottland, Denmark, and New York! The parents are on vacation in Cuba for a few days, so I'm playing mom. Today we washed the dad's new Pathfinder, which was covered in mud from going offroad at a horse competition. It took us about 3hrs to clean, but I was so proud of them for working hard. And naturally it turned into a huge water fight at the end, which was so much fun! I worked 12hrs straight today and I'm completely exhausted, but can't sleep bc the Swedish opera singer is quite loud, and high-pitched. Interesting, this life.
